We are currently hiring a Security Engineer for a client in the UAE for a minimum of 1 year project (renewable). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing new security projects, maintaining security tools, and supporting the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, firewall, and vulnerability management tools
• Support implementation of cybersecurity solutions and projects
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prepare evaluation reports
• Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security updates
• Support audits, incident response, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams on security operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in a technical security role
• Strong understanding of network security and incident handling
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management tools
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CC, or SSCP are preferred
